Immigrants are a part of our community, our neighborhoods, and our schools. Oftentimes, the stories we see about immigrants don’t reflect full lived experiences, but rather one simplified snapshot of a specific experience. Our partners at Netflix decided to do something about this. Netflix curated a list of immigrant centered films and TV shows that puts a spotlight on the daily lives of immigrants and their families, trials of growing up as a First Generation immigrant, and many more dynamic experiences with its Immigrant Heritage Month category list. Find it on Netflix every June!
